The Spacebirds project was created in 2008 in Moscow (Russia). The band's music is an ironic look at synth music 1980-1990-ies (from genres such as New Wave, Synthpop, Spacesynth, Disco, Synthdance). In the setup of Spacebirds — children's musical instruments (synthesizers Casio SA-21, SA-46, etc.), mobile gadgets (Volca Series from Korg) and even Android tablets. The band's music Spacebirds — is a funny, very ironic "Toy Synthwave / Post New-Wave" with sci-Fi and space themes and, of course, with nostalgia by 80th years.
